Following on from recent successful collaborations, the lovely chaps at Viasat Film asked us once again to help with some seasonal loveliness in the form of their Christmas idents. A dream of a job that saw us bring beautifully animated characters (synonymous with Christmas wrapping paper and cards) to life in a real Christmas-decked living room.
And so began a Christmas tale of bringing the illustrations of the amazing Louis Neubert to life and creating a fantastical spectacle, as the assortment of characters interacted and played amidst their present-laden landscape.
From abseiling Santas, squirrels on flying foxes to a stampede of reindeer traversing the epic plains of a present-adorned living room, the project achieved the remarkable feat of executing a concept that certainly we had never seen before.
This won a Silver Promax Award for Animation, we’re so happy we could work with ViaSat and MTG Creative to bring their idea to life!
